Our mission
Geophysics.eu exists to make geophysics understandable, accessible, and practical for anyone working with the subsurface.
We provide clear explanations, method guides, instrument knowledge, real-world applications, and curated resources that support engineers, archaeologists, environmental scientists, planners, and researchers in making informed decisions.
The goal is simple: Improve how people measure, map, and interpret the Earth, using physics, evidence, and field experience.
Geophysics.eu is created and maintained by Roberto Grassi, geophysicist, consultant, and founder of Adapis Georadar Teknik AB. Roberto has decades of hands-on experience working with applied geophysics across Scandinavia and Europe, including engineering investigations, environmental studies, heritage projects, and advanced GPR and seismic surveying. His work combines field expertise with a passion for education and clear communication.
This site is part of his ongoing mission to make geophysical methods easier to understand and easier to apply responsibly.
